I had an interesting chat with my supervisor recently about words to use (and not to use) in postmodern research.
For example, I was looking at my research question and stating that how relationships influence identity capital. We discussed the word influence as a non postmodernist term, and the world mediated by being used instead.
I have had no philosophical training whatsoever, only what I have read so far and have narrowed my study down to a postmodernist approach using social constructionism.
However, I would love to find some writings on "the words to use and why" in postmodernism.
I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction please?
