I am making rotatable wash in place system. It cosists of rotating pipe (diameter - 15mm)which has multiple holes.

The water of 4bar(g) is induced into this rotating pipe. Water than flows through these holes and cleans the surface in the theory. The challenge is to design multiple holes to suitably clean quite complex area beneeth and above the rotating pipe.

I tried to do some CFD and then made these holes with rotary laser cutting technology, yet the system does not behave as supposed.

Is there any article or analysis that is studying shapes of holes for wanted dispersing or scattering water on to the surface. (f.e. how to form a hole that gives 70° disperse water flow... or in other words how to predict water flow through this "nozzles" or how to design their geometry)
