Dear Ones,

Greetings!

Question: is there anything WRONG to publish parts of INTER-RELATED but separate findings from the SAME STUDY as different publications?

Synopsis: We have just finished our exemplary clinical research study. At present, we have embarked on a business of manuscripts preparation ready for submission to a journal platform. It has come to our attention that, our study findings are massive in data (information) and that it may be too difficult to publish them under one research article style.

In addition, our approved study protocol had 5 different specific objectives on issues that are definitely new and individually unique but INTER-RELATED. Some of us have considered 2-3 different articles submission as a solution to the current challenge. Others in the group are worried that may constitute SALAMI publication, a FRAUDULENT activity that none of us is willing to bear.

We are now in a dilemma since the group is divided now with two (2) distinct POLARISED views!!!
