Can any one help me if a DRR (Digitally reconstructed radiograph) image will be provided by TPS ? If yes then will there be a DICOM tag no for such images.
If TPS doesn't provide DRR image where can we get (in which DICOM tag no) the information pertaining to DRR image like gantry angle etc. for me to construct a DRR from CT images.
DRRs are digitally reconstructed 2D X-ray radiographs from 3D CT data which is used for planning and verification of patient’s positioning on treatment machine.

What I wanted to know is, if the DRRs will be generated from the TPS or TPS only gives the information on which angle the DRRs has to be reconstructed from the CT data.

not sure what do you mean with tag number? If you mean DICOM tag (indicates the series, name, surname, scanner type, and other details...), it will not be in CT slices tags...DRR process is independent on this I believe. What is your TPS? I think each modern TPS has to generate DRRs and also you can find some alghorithms how to generate DRRs from CT with Matlab for example (not for treatment, only for research)
