I would like to know is there any possible or evidence that the gene expression of antioxidant gene such as GST, SOD gene and PPARgamma gene expression are downregulated due to feedback mechanism when animals are provided with external antioxidants from plants and herbs?
This is my assumption: external antioxidants are saturated, effort of antioxidant gene reduces, PPAR gamma downregulate as antioxidant genes are need not to be transcripted more.
If there is evidence, can I have the related mechanism and articles?

Although I am not an expert, but I believe that it's not possible to obtain complete saturation of each cells with externally provided antioxidants, it would be clinically unachievable. You can get whatever concentration you want in an in vitro cell culture, but can't accomplish that in an in vivo system.
Additionally, each antioxidant enzyme/molecule has it's unique role in the defense system, which can't be replaced by any other external molecules. For instance SOD quenches the superoxide radicals and produces H2O2, which is further processed by catalase enzymes and catalase can't do SOD's job.

It is true that external antioxidant can be improve and enhancement the internal antioxidant, in my study suggested that the health promoting capabilities effects of these oils extracted from Syzygium aromaticum ( clove) in animal models of hyperlipidemia could be attributed to the high polyphenolic content along with the enhancement of the total antioxidant defense system of body. As preventive antioxidants, the oils can directly intercept free radical retard or slow the oxidative processes leading to decrease MDA level and antioxidant enzymes
Giving continuous suppliments of antioxidants might reduce body's self defence system
