I am doing a study among patients who have had an clinical event. I am evaluating a number of clinical events to investigate if any of these can be used as bio-markers of the clinical event. I have daily values for these parameters for 5 days +/- the event. Will linear mixed model be appropriate for this study? My data is continuous. I have some non-parametric data sets which have been log transformed.
