Will it make a difference if I prepare 8M sodium hydroxide solution aside or mix the water and NaOH solids directly with sodium silicates? specially if I mix them well in both cases - I know my molar ratios and solids will be the same in both cases.

to emphasise more, if I mix NaOH solids ( required for 8M solution) with 50% of water that was meant to be added to produce 8M solution, then mix it with Na2Sio3 then add the other 50% water, will it make a difference?
