I have a progressive die designed for 5 mm Cu strip. The strip is having a Camber of 1mm/0.2 m. This is a 4 station progressive die (Piercing, bending and cut off) with a pitch of 142 mm.

There are total 10 holes to be pierced along with few profile and a shallow bend at the end.

I am finding an issue of dimension of 1mm not getting maintained between 2 holes. One hole is pierced in the first station and the other hole is pierced in the 3rd station.

I have found that the strip is having camber of around 1mm for 200 mm and I am suspecting that to be the major reason for the deviation.

I have pilots in all stations to locate the strip. There are no marks (dragging or damage) in the component around the pilot holes. Fixed pilots are used.

Kindly suggest if camber can lead to difference in two holes pierced at different stations with pilot locations.
