In this world we all know that nothing is permanent, everything material degrades, every life ends, nothing is like life and death, we live in dream.
When nothing is my very own why I think so? Why is all this struggle when nothing is to be gained or lost in the end, the indefinite end?
Why are we so crazy for the indefinite and not for the definite? What is definite and what is indefinite? Are all these questions not against the progress of humanity and development of the society? Is society a truth?

Why we keep on dreaming when everything in life is dream, vanish after a while?
Human's life is like a project whereby it has a start-time & end-time as given. Albeit some projects might end earlier or being delayed but surely it will end. Our lives are also like a journey in which there is a start-point & end-point. In order to make this temporary project / journey more interesting & enjoyable one, we can dream, pursuit our interests & release our potential before the project / journey ends.
Thank you for this very important question. In medical practice patients give us an idea of their pathologic dreams, repeated since decades - but never analysed - as a contrast to the "dreams" they are confronted with in the most media every day and night.
I think it is because we need to enjoy the moment, and we need to be able to anticipate enjoyable future moments, to live a happy life. There is such a thing as enjoying the experience while you can, as opposed to being miserable for no good reason.
It's a bit like asking, why do we take a bath, when we'll get dirty again? Why do the laundry, if your clothes will become dirty again? Well, because it is plain unpleasant to feel filthy, and to wear filthy clothes. It's far more pleasant to not live that way. Little moments add up to become an entire lifetime. A long series of unpleasant moments end up creating an unpleasant lifetime.
And none of that required religious arguments. Religion would be an additional construct, to give such considerations a supernatural significance and purpose.
Remember my dear friend that time flows in a forward direction and for one to live through this one can not swim up stream (or ever attempt to do so at any point of time). Therefore, to swim with the current, one some time find it difficult to keep pace with the flow rate of time and then to pass over such situation one need to dream.
Even with that we have to keep dreaming , believing and be determined and everything I believe will for work for our good
Our mind is a energy force offering us ideas , inspiration ,hopes for our day to day action of our life for our working environment & for also our development so that we may prove to be worthy to our family & also in certain cases to our social surrounding .
In a process of our thinking place very often certain unexpected ideas come to us which may become a part of our dream .
We have to keep our mind conscious that for moving in the dream light we have to be careful that our dream should not become just as to build castle's in the air .
