When we speak regarding the writing , we think of our pen & pencil , & for our pen we always respect that pen is mighty than sword.Writings for our thoughts ,our expression ,our feelings ,touching our mind & heart for our expression of within .With this without writing we may views in morbid environment .
I agree that it depends on the nature of writing or its motives, good or evil. The environment or the external elements may sometimes define this nature. Thank you for sharing.
The writing was undoubtedly an enormous transition through the civilisation process launched in Mesopotamia. What you have mentioned above is scientifically correct, however, far from the benefits of record and archive which lead to evolution, there are many subjective motives for writing, and these are our concerns in this discussion. Thank you for sharing.
I agree with some points you have raised dear Vadim and disagree. with others. I have just published an article about my friend's short story collection who was highly influenced by Gogol's overcoat. Yes, you are right about some writers' feelings of greatness and some flatterers called them for example, the short story or novel godfathers as for mafia çheifs. However I disagree with your.opinion that literature will vanish because literature and science help each other. Many things are still to say, but for other time.
Your tone was serious so we took it seriously. However, you are right that I remember now my colleague studying digital literature in England as a futuristic art which I denied and attacked it. That opinion enhances your attitude somehow that literature in its known formula may be changed to walk with science and be closer in the future. I attacked digital literature because it is a sign of literature's death. Your prediction may be proven true.
The silent film "City Lights" by Charlie Chaplin also dealt early with the problem of machines and man. The hasty progress towards replacing man with machines is accelerated by artificial intelligence. The luddite we needed is done by the writers themselves. I cannot see the future with the machine only. Man is always the controller. However, that does not mean the evil powers will not try to use machines for their controlling power, but it is still human. So man cannot create man like God; it is impossible. AI tries to create a machine like a man, but it is unattainable.
Teachers fighting students' plagiarism is a good point you raised in this context. The future seems, for some people, fake, but I have confidence that the good powers of a man finally overcome evil.
Surely, Vadim, not only companies are working on the evil side of AI but also states and their intelligences. However, they consider it a part of war or defence.
Usually writing is a way of communication. With this we have to express our opinion and to deliver to the audience. Specially academic writing is to write the research in form of article, thesis etc. This is when we research a way to keep in front of world. This is either receive feedback and also to share the method how to solve the problems. This is the reason its compulsory part of research work. This is the way to help other to find the gap or to fill the ga in research
In many respects writing may clarify the head and make unconscious thoughts and opinions conscious. Writing is a focussing act.
Writing reports or articles may also be a clarifying process for thoughts but also material, graphs and tables that comes to a light through the process. Writing can be deeply meaningful and you are completely free, with no judgements, except your own. Writing directly on the web is a different thing from writing on your own file.
Dear Kishore Kumar .. writing as a story is fascinating for many writers, however, others may prefer it as verse or drama, or even a mere article. Diversity of writing is interesting. Thanks for sharing
We write because it helps us capture our thoughts and feelings, making them more understandable and lasting. It's like putting our ideas into a bottle, preserving them so they can be shared and remembered. Writing helps us make sense of the world and connect with others, even across time and distance.
