Sometimes we notice good papers are published in standard journals having nearly good impact factor. However the unfortunate point is that
when technical mistakes/ incorrect results / conceptual mistakes are brought to the notice of Editor , the concerned editor avoid to process the
comment/ remaks reflecting their narrow vision .They simple say it is old and no timely importance .
It not known how the science will develop with this attitude.
Do you agree with me .
I feel there is no need to point out the flaws to the concerned editors after publication. You can convey to the author, if known to you or publish papers dealing with the flaws.

Probably you are ignoring the produre
on comment publication. The most adopted procedure is
(1) First contact the person who has incorrected presented the concept/ calculation/ results.
(2) Then contact the Editor .
(3) If author does not reply then what to do ?
(4) If the Editor says it is old and not interested .Then what you will do ?
(5) Then you go to arxiv or RG .
Inspite of this if author does not rectify , then what would be your reaction . My feeling is that only impatial persons should be the editor and this oppertunity should not be given biased people .
I am writting from my experience in India and outside India.
So I feel physics is not safe with the
hands of this type of people .

You are correct. The authors as well as the editors have the moral responsibility to respond but in most of the cases they will ignore. No one likes to admit their fault.
