I have doped Vanadium in BT but there is no change in the splitting of peak at around 2θ ̴ 45°, even though there is an appreciable change in lattice parameters as well as clear shifting in peaks indicating diffusion of Vanadium ions in BT lattice. What might be the possible reasons?
Can you mention, what type of change are you expecting?? Actually, we also faced some problem in that peak of BT based samples..
Earlier, with doping in our samples the splitting in peak at around 2θ ̴ 45°it decreased, indicating clear change in the structure. As, in perovskites this splitting is clear indication of tetragonal structure. But, in case of Vanadium doping there is no change in the splitting..... Why so? Hope you got my point!
Yes, consider the % doping before evaluating your expectation. It is also possible to do a rerun to ensure the results while opening up your mind to any new out come.
