Is it be because of high cytotoxicity of the drug to cells? The phytochemical used blocked the protein expression induced by TNf alpha treatment but why the band shifted towards downwards. (The MW of protein-induced be TNF alpha treatment is 87kDA but after treatment with phytochemical band shifts to molecular weight in between 70 to 80 kDa Samples used; control cells (No treatment); cells with (TNF alpha treatment); cells with (phytochemical and TNF alpha treatment).
