Dear all,

I am doing a test run in Plaxis 3D with a suction pile model in layered soil, adding axial compression load and conduct Safety analysis. Loading parameters are input as instruction of the Plaxis Tutorial Manual. The Msf - |u| curve in the calculation progress looks kind of correct, but when I view the result, the chart shows a straight line only.

I have modified like load value, boundary condition and the pile, but there isn't any significant change in the output chart. Could anyone please tell me what might be the cause for this problem?

Also, I have read the Manual but I don't know in detail the difference between the Mstage and Msf. Could anyone please explain me about these 2 parameters?
