I'm a computer science student, and I asked my lecturer their opinion about my research topic, which is the use of game to improve cultural awareness. Some of my lecturers said it is not a good topic for computer science research. Do you agree or disagree with them?

the main difficulty and problem to conduct the proposed research is how to measure and quantify the cultural awareness before and after using the game. I’m not saying it would be impossible, since some researchers already seems to have done it, see: Shih et al. 2015, also Muravevskaia et al. 2016 develops a design framework for computer games with the aim to develop cultural awareness.
Unfortunately, I can only read the abstract of the papers and cannot judge the quality or if they really fit your suggested topic of research.
