I am designing a rectangular waveguide slot array antenna. After setting the initial waveguide dimension and slots and the distance between them, I see two beams in the radiated pattern. Does anyone know why it should happen? Here are the dimensions:
Frequency 24GHz,
Waveguide broad wall dimension: 6mm,
distance between the center of slots: 9mm,
slot width: 0.27mm,
number of the slots: 4.

What kind of radiation pattern are you seeing? Is the main beam split or are you seeing grating lobes? (I don't expect grating lobes since your element spacing is less than one lambda).
Are your slots sloped on different directions or all the same direction? If your main beam split so there is a null on boresight then half your slots are out of phase with the other half. 180 deg phase is controlled by which way the slots slope (narrow wall) or which side of the guide they are(wide wall).
You have probably gone for slots spaced at 1/2 guide wavelength, which means alternate slots should be sloping in opposite directions to corect the 180 deg change of current direction in the guide.
