I have been trying to simulate my system whose Simulink schematic is attached, and also I have attached my results.
The issue is, even though the wind is having sufficient generation, the power demand of the load is not absorbed from the wind, instead, the grid instantly delivers the power. My system comprises of PMSG based wind generator, Battery, Load Connected before the Isolation Transformer and Grid.
Can you please suggest where I am going wrong? I want the power of the load must be supplied by the wind generator. (my results are attached)
Have a look at the inertia of our WECS, perhaps it's too high and so generates very slowly.
Even though it's generating sufficient power it's a natural resource and it's not constant.its understood that generation of power depends on wind. So it's connected through the inverter and the transformer
WECS generates the variable power depends upon the wind speed. We will inject this variable voltage into the grid means it produces more harmonic and voltage fluctuations in the grid side. The front end rectifier gives constant dc voltage and reactive power control. The grid side inverter controls the harmonic and real power injection to the grid.
Please define power direction in case of grid.Please check your power balance. Beyond 4 seconds power balance seems correct. However from 0 to 4 seconds power balance seems not correct.
Padmanabhan Nambiar Respected sir, thank you for responding to my doubt. In the case of the grid, the direction of power is being defined as follows;
(a) Power Injected to the grid= +ve
(b) Power Drawn from the grid= -ve
Dear Roy, I suggest to check simulation diagram considering proper polarity of power from different energy sources at the point if common coupling for power balance..Once power balance is satisfied to control wind power injection to the grid based on wind speed, you may have to control the phase angle of inverter of WEG with respect grid phase angle.

Dear Amit Kumar Roy, to change the output power of your PMSG plant the input torque should be changed. The torque will change only if the wind speed change. Have you changed the wind speed at 4s? Amit Kumar Roy
Muhammad Ahsan Zamee Sir the wind speed is constant throughout the simulation.
Brother here is your answer, as there is no change in wind speed, hence the output power from the wind turbine will not change, change the wind speed then check the response. for changing the wind speed over time you can use staircase generator block in Simulink

Inverter working on fixed power dispatch of 20-kW.
From; t=-3 to 4s, the power delivered by wind is 5-kW, the power delivered by battery=21- kW, power exchanged with the grid= 10-kW, power demand by the loads connected at the PCC= 10-kW
