Digital wave algorithms can be used to perform electrical network simulation in time domain. The response of a circuit simulated by means of the DW equivalent can be used as "exact" solution to compare the response coming from a Nodal Analysis solver like Spice.
Why would we calculate the answer in SPICE when we already have the output of Albert Fettweis's brainchild?
What would be nice to have is a program that converts between a SPICE netlist and its digital Wavefilter.
After quite a few lengthy detours I have come back to the Digital Wavefilter ideas.
1. I can't find ischematics.com or Spicy SWAN online or in the iStore (the latter won't help because I don't have an iphone).
2. Is it possible to input a SPICE netlist (not necessarily graphically) and convert it to DWF that can run, and preferably, be viewed as a filter or a network of adapters?
3. Is there an evaluation version, or an online reference manual?
4. Is your work on this simulator lost forever, or are you trying to preserve it for the ages?
