i am characterizing the graphene-Ni interface electrical properties. using the Hall Effect measurements i found the sheet resistance very low, lowest value for resistivity,high conductivity,very high values for carrier concentration...but i got the mobilty to be 80 cm2/(V·s) which is quite low . can any one give me the reason for this, what are the nickel interface effects n graphene properties especially mobility
If the nickel substrate contains grain boundaries, they act as a fast diffusion path and the precipitated graphene concentration is increased at the grain boundaries. The graphene grown on substrate may contain many grain boundaries, which will have interface effects on graphene properties especially mobility.
