I have a question about fluorescnece intensity.
It is important to determine optimal excitation wavelength for fluorescenece analysis.
However, I don't know why wavelength at maximum absorption present maximum intensity of fluorescence.
How can I explain?

usually, maxium absorption wavelength is highly correlated with maxium excitation wavelength which produce maxium fluorescence intensity.

How could that happen?
Because for a fluorescent probe, it absorb the energy, then dissipate it absorbed energy through fluorescence emission. The maxium absorbed wavelength (energy) will ultimately produce maxium fluorescence emission.
