I went through "The Lancet" journal website and saw the immense impact factor of 60.392. Then to my surprise I found that the journal is only indexed in scopus. Such Imapct factor journal is unable to make it in Science Citation Index (SCI) is a big surprise.

See also the enclosed list of impact factors provided by Clarivate, this journal IS nicely indexed.

As mentioned by Dr. Rob Keller , the journal is indexed in ISI. I suggest searching by the journal's ISSN to overcome this slip.

Elsevier is the publisher of 'The Lancet' The Lancet, British medical journal established in 1823. The journal's founder and first editor was Thomas Wakley, considered at the time to be a radical reformer.
Wakley stated that the intent of the new journal was to report on the metropolitan hospital lectures and to describe the important cases of the day. The Lancet has since played an important role in medical and hospital reform movements in Britain and has become a highly prestigious medical journal around the world. It has a JIF of 60.392 second only to CA - A Cancer Journal for Clinicians with IF 88.192 ! One among many, Scopus is an “abstract and citation indexing database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference proceedings” owned by the Elsevier publishing firm (Elsevier, https://www.elsevier.com/en-au/solutions/scopus). Since The Lancet is published by Elsevier it is ONLY indexed in SCOPUS! Scopus is Elsevier's abstract and citation database. Although the Library does not subscribe to Scopus, you can still use a free version of it. Scopus traces citations and impact factors of articles in peer-reviewed journals in all subjects, and is especially strong in the sciences. Finally have a look at the link below:
