In my opinion there is a technical problem in your experiment because the CV looks good inspite of non-rectangular shape and the capacitance is good also. Try to repeat your experiment with high degree of accuracy.

Try to use more than 100 mA current  for charging / discharging

The potential window used in GCD looks quite different from that in CV. Have you tried the same potential window in GCD (i.e. -0.3 to +0.6 V)? The two key parameters in GCD (for any electrodes in a given electrolye): 1) an appropriate potential window, and 2) current density. In addition, you need to set the proper current range for charging/discharging.

i used the same potential window used in CV but i did not complete my test because the charging curve still straight for long time then i stopped the test.

you mean that i may test GCD firstly at an appropriate potential window then i test the CV at this potential window.

i know that the specific capacitance  from GCD can be calculated at low current density as 1 A/g. so this current density is the suitable.

plz tell me how to determine the specific capacity for lithium ion battery form GCD curve ?

Hi everybody.

I have a correlated questions.

I've got a capacitance for the electrode measured by GCD in 3 electrodes method at different potential and current density than in symmetric cell capacitance.

As I understand, while the potential increases, in order to balance those two values, the current should increase too, by that, the Q, is it correct?

So, could anybody give me any tips on how to balance those values so I can respect Celectrode=2*Ccell?
