The colors of the two samples are different after drying at 80 degrees Celsius using the sol-gel method? Why is it so? It is due to the quantity of HNO3 or due to temperature? And does it affects the results or not after calcination? I have attached the pic of samples.
First, please calcine your samples and analyze it to confirm, (e.g: XRD)

An-Giang Nguyen I am using the sol-gel method. I dissolved oxides with nitric acid, heated at 100-180C, dried and cooled, then dissolved in ethanol. The pics I have attached are after drying. When I calcinated the above samples, the results are not the same. How much ethanol and nitric acid are suitable for good results?
Did you use the same temperature and concentration values for all samples?

The concentration is not same but dried both to placen.in an oven at 80 degree celcius. I think concentration is not matter. is quantity of nitric acid or ethanol matters or not? And how much nitric acid is suitable to dissolve oxides to heatup 100-180 C? when it dried then how much ethanol is enough? after that i placed my solution in oven at 80C gfor 1 or more days to dry.
