Why the absorbance of sample highest than absorbance of blank (without sample)?

I have conduct alpha glucosidase inhibitory assay. But i'm confuse why the absorbance of the sample was highest than blank (without sample), as well as using acarbose as positive control. Anyone can help me to explain it?
