It depends on the nature of material used whether n-type or p-type. Assuming it is semiconductor material where the band gap is lower than the insulator and is n type and the electrolyte is acting as metal forming rectifying contact, then you will observe a normal MOTT-SCHOTTKY. By plotting the behaviour with positive slope where the the positive voltage is applied on the n-semiconductor electrode .

However, such plots and behaviour are sensitive and need to carefully interpreted.
