Many older readers will agree that prevention in Western policy and politics nowadays is found more rarely than in the second half of 20-th century. Why is it happening?
@ Arvydas In my opinion western policies and politics have become inadequate and hollow in the global evolving economies that are now dominated by population of young digital focused generation with enterprenueral mind. Such population has no time for empty political statements or policies that are meant to keep in power political demagogues and cheerleaders of western policies or politics that add no value to the people lives.
According You, this youth does not have time for "empty" political statements or policies, but it has time for full/empty digitalization, as facebooks or playing computer games. Am I right?
@ Arvydas That's not what l have in mind. Those who may be hooked to such games are those in junior and senior or high schools. However the youth l have in mind are those who are still in tertiary colleges or undergraduates in universities who in latest released demographic data all over the world have already attained voting age and some are joining workforce or self-employed. These are groups with analytical ,investigative sharp mind that you can't hoodwinked with empty and political rhetoric or policies that do not make sense or add value to their lives since they are quick to understand situations an will vote you out in any democratic competatetive contest.
I think the victims and spectators/audience of superpowers cold wars are no longer interested in these wars. The formers interests have shifted to how they can counter the economic and pandemic issues rather thinking of amassing weapons for political expedience and supremacy.
People are afraid of state interference during good times - they think, everything will pass by itself, and do not understand and prepare for the bad times. Foreseeing of crises is not so much inherent in people's minds.
