Why plastic containers are used for inorganic compounds while glass containers for organic?
Common organic solvents like acetone and alkanes damage plastics like HDPE (although fluorinated plastics like PFA are more chemically resistant).

Glass is an inorganic material. When a glass bottle is molded, it is heated to more than 1000°F. Organic material is destroyed under this condition. So a glass bottle used for Organic compound.
Plastic bottles are made of organic materials. it may contain traces of the monomer from which the plastic is made, plasticizers or mold release compounds. so glass is preferable for Organic.
In both cases glass is better and more save than plastic. In general organic compounds are more reactive than inorganic and plastic reacts with the organic compd.
I agree with Professor Faiq H S Hussain answer as per my concern if we put the organic material in simple plastic bottle the material can react with plastic material and can form subsidiary material during longer store. Now the days resistant plastic packing is also using by various company.
