For a ferroelectric sample with varying doping concentration (0-10 at%), I have observed that PL peak intensity is increasing with dopant concentration. What is the possible reason for this kind of behavior? (Ex wavelength = 320 n.m)
the PL peak intensity strongly depends on the concentration of the materials in the solvent. if the concentration of the investigating sample material is high in the solvent, intensity of PL spectral peak will become high.
If you maintain equal concentration of the samples during the recording of pl spectra, the defects arises due to impurity concentration may capture more photons of electromagnetic radiation leads to enhancement in pl peaks.

Thankq Naseem Ahmad sir, for sparing time...I have done PL of powders (as a powder itself) with out dispersing in any solvent. If I increase the dopant concnetration it means that more defect states are being created that is leading to capture of more photons...?
