In some cases peptides are reported better than antibodies for therapeutic use(blocking purposes), but my doubt is that antibodies are also composition of amino acids and used for blocking the interactions with respective to there receptors, for example PDL1 antibodies blocks PDL1/PD1 interactions. I know that antibodies have less permeability into cells compared to small peptides. There is any other reason or explanation for this. Kindly can you provide me links or literature for this. I am also searching for this but i am getting only that small peptides are easily synthesis compared to antibodies like that i am not satisfying but i need more if there is any thing kindly place the answer.
