Dear all, currently I am facing problem with my synthesis to produce PEGDA hydrogel by emulsion polymerization.

I'm using PEG, Benzene, TEA, AcCI and Nitrogen gas for the experiment. Unfortunately I was struggling to obtain the hydrogel solution as the final product obtained was viscous and sticky white thing. May I know if this happened because of insufficient Nitrogen gas or because of other factors? Thank you.
