At the time of the primary antibody (FSH) added a solution of chromogen DAB, the positive control was stained in the pars nervosa but in many journal said FSH was faound at pars distalis of pituitary gland. Anyone can help me for this problem
the negative control is not stained but the cells that immunoreactive to FSH Ab were found in pars nervosa of pituitary gland not in pars distalis of the gland. Is it rigth if we refer to the theory?
FSH cells only found in pars distalis of pituitary gland among other endocrine cells. The sturcture between pars distalis and pars nervosa of that glands is quite different. Therefore, there are no positive reaction of ir-FSH cells found in pars nervosa.
