Recently for the first time I have tried to synthesize Ti3C2 MXene using MILD method by etching Al from Ti3AlC2 using 40 ml HCl 6 M and 2 gr LiF and 2 gr Ti3AlC2. But after 24 hours of stirring the colour of solution was yellow and not dark and after centrifugation the dark sediment or supernatant was not seen. I synthesized MXene from Alkali method before and the colour was completely dark and the dried powder was dark black. Could you please help me with this problem or link me to someone who can conduct me to the desired result. I have read lots of articles but unfortunately I have not seen any picture of materials and synthesize condition during etching, washing, centrifuge or sonication. I appreciate it greatly if someone can help me. thanks in advance.
With the MILD method, you will generally see delamination as you wash your MXene to neutral. A few things that may be occurring that leads to this problem, I would consider the following:

We use the HF/HCl method, which leads to larger flakes, but I included pictures of every step.
