In our experiments, some methyl-biphenyls were detected in plants after exposure to PCBs. However, no references were found related to the formation of methyl-BP within plants.

So I would like to request, if it possible for organisms to methylate biphenyl to methyl-biphenyl, rather than methoxy-biphenyl?
