Hi,
I just installed Abaqus and run first job. When I open job monitor I see some data in "Message File" and "Data File" sections, but Errors, Warnings (despite there are warnings and errors during the calculation) and table with Steps and Increment are empty.
Do you have any idea what I can do to see the job progress in data monitor?
Did you check the .log file of your job? I have a similar problem related to the following warning:
***WARNING: Interactive messaging has been requested for this analysis run,
but initialization of the messaging system has failed. Therefore
no messages will be sent to Abaqus/CAE for this phase of the
analysis.
What about the .sta file? Are you getting any output there?
Kazimierz Józefiak, after I checked the .log file, I see the warning you mentioned.
In .sta file I have information about all steps and increments, followed by the message "THE ANALYSIS HAS COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY".
I'm having this problem only with my university's laptop. Except for interactive messaging, Abaqus PDE (Python development env.) cannot connect to Abaqus/CAE so it's impossible to interactively debug python scripts. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix it. I'm guessing it's related to some security settings on Windows 10. I tried disabling firewall but it didn't work for me.
I have similar problem, connected to some issue with licensing i suppose, as it only appears for me when working via vpn. All data in logs anyways.
Thanks for your answers. Unfortunately the solution with cunstom env file did not work.
There is one strange thing: for one month I worked on the same computer and the same version of abaqus, but using different wifi network (still the same VPN connection) -- and the cae monitor was working properly. Yesterday I went back to home and it is not working again.
