We used Kimberly-Clark Purple Nitrile gloves during Ion Chromatography. We saw a froth-like appearance when the gloves came contact with water. It seems some kind of detergent or something was in the gloves. We use deionized water and powder free gloves. What are the possible reasons for this? Should we use gloves from another company?
Just as a clarification, do you mean that you saw bubbles on the glove when you rubbed them after they got wet? We've seen this sort of thing before with other brands as well. The thing that my lab manager (who specializes in cleanroom studies of gloves and other materials) always likes to stress to us is that even though the box (Kimberly Clark or any other company) says "powder free," that doesn't necessarily mean that there's no powder on them; just that there's a whole lot less. He also suggests that before you use those gloves on any low level samples, that you rinse them off with high purity water and air dry them in a HEPA-filtered hood to get any residue off of them. That should rectify the frothing problem.

Thank you for your reply. Yes the frothing problem is occures in gloves of other company. We are working in PPM level so its necessory to get rid of this problem. we will follow your advice.
