While the BJH method is used only for mesopores.
for example:
TPV (BET): 0.474 cm3.g-1
Vp (BJH): 0.616 cm3.g-1
Naturally, the total pore volume (micropores+mesopores+macropores) should not be less than the mesopores volume.

They are totally different:
BET is a method for estimating surface area of a non-porous solid based on multilayer adsorption.
BJH is a method to determine pore size distribution of a mesoporous solid based on the Kelvin equation.
ِDr. Alaa Y. Faid, The basis of the two methods is one. And it is sorption isotherm. The difference in the equations is used. In addition, the porosity can be calculated from the BET method. Always in the BET test report, along with the SA, pore volume is also mentioned. My question is why sometimes mesopores (BJH method) is more than the total pore volume (BET method)????!!!!
