Dear Sinemobong Essien , professor Phillip Morris , when you are evaluating a Total Content its better to use molecules near to what is suspected to be found on your samples, the base of the content evaluation is the equivalence. it is better to use flavonoids such as rutin or quercetine for Total flavonoid content, and phenols such as gallic acid.
