I think government is now mainly considering economic growth, their liking place, reduce unemployment and income for the government before giving permission for an Industry.

But these laws or protocols were violated because of the political and financial gains. Take a look at oil spillage in oceans and the local communities, it is completely destroying the ecosystem.

Yes, only for financial aspects Government sometimes don"t care about environmental issues. Industrialization means to create opportunity of employment, economic growth, ultimately improving national income and GDP. However, many Governments sometimes give emphasize to establish industries thinking its cheap popularity rather than considering the detrimental effects on environment.
