Why along with polycaprolactone electrospinning, I also see electrospraying in the optical microscope images of nanofibers mat. The feeding rate, voltage and tip-to-collector distance have been changed many times and in all cases droplets are visible in photos. The concentration was also increased from 10 w/v% to 16 w/v%, but no change in observations was observed. The solvent was changed from chloroform:methanol 3:1 v:v to pure chloroform, the droplets increased in size and large number of droplets were still observed. Please guide me in this regard.
Try going for higher PCL concentration to make a more viscous solution, I have previously electrospun at 35% w/v using chloroform as solvent and obtained good fibers without beads. Also frequently ensure the tip of needle is clear and has no polymer accumulation

increaseing concentration to such values leads to a very large diameter of electrospun fibers. What was the diameter of your electrospun fibers?
