I am measuring the impedance of a solution using Electrochemical Interface Sl 1287 with Sl1260 at room temperature. I have 2 electrode system with gold electrodes.
I have attached some figures which are measured at two different frequencies(from 24kHz to 1 Hz and 1 MHz to 1 Hz) to check the bandwidth and the stability of my cell. Whatso ever I change the result still remains the same.
Does the negative impedance has to do something with my cell or the system?
Since with the dummy cell provided by the company, the result is fine.
It is very unusual to see so large negative impedance. Was your system under potemtial control? What is the references electrode? Which potential was Applied in the EIS measuremnts? Your electrode-system configuration looks full of questions. You should take a look at an electrochemistry textbook to learn how to measure electrochemical impedance Spectra.

The first measurement that is attached is for 1 Mhz.
Sorry. One more request: Measure with 3-electrode sheme: working-gold, adding-great, reference electrode.
Maybe is the cell design, try to use a more simple cell just for testing the system response.
