Why does the modal mass changes due to change in orientation? Fixed free plate in horizonal position and angled have different values of modal mass?

For example a plate in horizontal position has modal mass approx 25% of total mass and same is 50% of total mass if the plate is at an angle of 45 degree with Fixed free boundary condition.
