In 2007, the IMF reports an inflation rate for Zimbabwe of -72.7% (annual percentual change using average consumer prices). This is not the only negative inflation that they report for this nation. However, as far as I know, Zimbabwe has suffered since long ago from hyperinflation. These data can be found in: https://www.imf.org/external/datamapper/PCPIPCH@WEO/ZWE?zoom=ZWE&highlight=ZWE
I would like to know why the IMF reports these negative data, as I have only found comments related to the hyperinflation in this nation.
Thank you in advance for your comments.
