The attached files contain a circuit schematic comprised of two switches; PMOS (high sied switch) and an NMOS (low side switch), and LC circuit for the buck converter with an Rload. To ensure the proper operation a deadtime is inserted at about 20ns. The period of the ON time is 100ns and the rise and fall time is about 25ns. The gate voltage of the MOS is held constant for a time and the current rises at a very high level. Is there an explanation for this phenomenon?
