Why does not ResearchGate adopt "impact points" as one of its indicators any more?

It is noted that ResearchGate denied the use of "impact points" as an author's level metric. I see that the RG score can only be shown. What do you think about this procedure? It appears that there is an underlying reason for making RG take this step. Is it about the reliability of such a measure as an indication of the individual contribution?
