The media contains NaCl, KCl, MgCl2,CaCl2 and NaHCO3 dissolved in Di water. When I autoclave each solution separately it does not precipitate.
Cacl2 can form highly insolvable calcium carbonate when mixed with NaHCO3 especially at high temperature..That's why precipitation can be observed
Higher density of high salt media resultant precipitation after autoclave.
It could happen that high salt media precipitate after autoclaved.
Does anyone have any papers on salt deposition on samples occurring in the autoclave?
I want to obtain standard creep parameters of salt rock by creep parameters of rectangular samples. Is there a modification factor to convert creep parameters of rectangular (prismatic) rock salt...
