Why not simply just use two synchronized atomic clocks at two far separated isolated geographical locations on Earth and measure any difference in the passage of time. Measurement of Time is much less affected from noise in the environment and other parasitic parameters.

If they achieved they claimed resolution at LIGO with distance I don't see any reason they can't do it also with TIME...
