Dear VISSIM experts,

I hope this message finds you well.

I have a question regarding the deviation of vehicle spacing in VISSIM when applying heterogeneous spacing for each vehicle type.

In VISSIM, when inputting a value greater than the capacity into any link, it is observed that vehicles maintain a spacing equal to the set value.

However, an interesting phenomenon occurs when using heterogeneous spacing with different CC1 settings. While vehicles traveling on one-lane roads adhere to the set spacing, some vehicles travel at a wider spacing than the set spacing when traveling on roads with more than two lanes.

I have attempted to find relevant functions related to car-following or lane-change behaviors, but my search has been fruitless thus far.

I would greatly appreciate your valuable assistance in helping me understand the reason behind this deviation in vehicle spacing behavior.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards
