1. As a dinosaur I am not sure that my family had died due to the "asteroid". This is only one of the hypothesis.

2. Armageddon was predicted in each generation.

3. The масс media are mainly supported by a financial society. In addition, for the sake of profit, they are ready to give something "hot" to the wider audience.

4. Maybe there is another opinion?

Are you denying that we recently had a near miss and lucky escape from a large asteroid? I don't think this was overblown in the media.
