I cannot find any more in my account the sum of Journal Impact Factors, for my publications. Usually the sum used to appear next to RG score? Someone can tell me why? Is this happening to everyone? Did RG change its score view?
In my views, IF must be displayed on RG. Because no measure (H index, citations etc) is fool proof. All these are somewhere interrelated. How can it be said that IF is not good measure and H-index is better, because both are dependent on citations. What I think, RG must show the information about the publication as such without imposing their views.
This is the explanation from Research Gate itself-
We no longer display journal metrics, like the Impact Factor, as they don't provide a reliable indication of the quality of any individual article or researcher published in the journal. Instead, we show your H-index and RG score, which take your individual contributions into account. We are also looking into improving these publication- and author-level metrics in order to better represent exactly how influential your research is.
But the procedure could not get rid of numerous authors papers, and then contribution of each author on enhancing each other H index and citation.. and ghost author papers
