Why can't the Philip calibration method be used for self-calibrating heat flux plates?

I think the two methods are aimed at different influencing factors. The Philip correction method is aimed at the influence of heat flow deflection, while the self-calibrating heat flux is aimed at sensitivity. The self-calibrating heat flux plate cannot correct the error caused by the deflection of heat flow.
